Gorgeous Italian holiday home with private pool in Le Marche

Casa Emilia is a beautifully restored and refurbished holiday home with swimming pool in Le Marche. The holiday home has 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. It is located near San Ginesio, in the rolling hills of Le Marche.

The holiday home retains a peaceful charm, whilst incorporating the latest comforts. The private 12 x 6 m swimming pool has a shallow (children’s) paddling pool area and sunbeds around the pool. There’s an outdoor shower and a beautiful loggia for shade with a teak table and seating for 10.

The former barn has been equipped with a fridge, sink, plastic plates and glasses for your poolside refreshments. This all sits in a beautiful designed garden with fruit and olive trees. Off the kitchen there is a wonderful shaded loggia with BBQ and outside fridge and a long table with benches for alfresco dining, lunch and breakfast!

There is another terrace at the other side of the house for watching the sun go down over the Marchigiana hills. Located less than 5 minutes drive from San Ginesio, one of Le Marche’s most beautiful villages, with superb local shops.

Accommodation

Casa Emilia is large enough to accommodate two or even three families, or a large group of friends. On the ground floor has a living room with a lovely wood burning stove, comfortable sofas, TV in English, DVD player and wifi throughout the house. The living room then opens on one side to a large dining room, with a table that comfortably seats 12 people. French windows opening onto a terrace with seating, a perfect setting to enjoy the Italian sunset. The kitchen has a large stove with gas hob (six rings), two electric ovens (one large and one small), dishwasher, large fridge with ice maker, a double ceramic sink and original slate work surfaces.

On the first floor there are 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed and en-suite bathroom with bath, shower​, toilet and double sink. The other three bedrooms all have a double bed and share two bathrooms. One with shower, sink and toilet and the other with bath, double shower, sink and toilet.

On the second floor there are two more bedrooms. Each with two single beds and a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet as well as a sitting area with a sofa bed for a possible two extra guests.

In the annex there is a separate laundry room with washing machine, dryer, iron and iron board.

Distances

Casa Emilia is only five minutes by car from San Ginesio, which has the famous bandiera arancione and has been named one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. The mountains and the sea are about 30 to 45 minutes away. Ancona Airport is 1 hour 15 minutes away.

Beautiful landscapes, fantastic beaches, the good wines, the varied kitchen, and the Mediterranean climate: reasons why Italy ranks for decades among the most popular destinations. Le Marche being a region, which has all advantages of Italy but less overcrowded or spoiled by the mass-tourism. Many small places with outstanding restored old towns and various festa’s in the summer, Macerata with its Sferisterio with opera arena, Ascoli Piceno with its antique market, and caffe Meletti, one of the most beautiful historic cafes of Italy at the Piazza del Popolo; and many more.

And when you need a break of this all you just laze away at the pool.
