Holiday home located in old mill with a natural pool

Il Posto Magico is a very special holiday home with a natural pool. The holiday home was an an old watermill: with vaulted ceilings and frescos. Il Posto Magico consists of three spacious family apartments: Conero, Grotte, and Gola. It has been carefully restored by its Dutch owners. Outside there is the natural pool, which sits in 13 hectares of private land with woods where truffles can be found and a stream to swim in. The natural swimming pool has a swimming area of 12×6 meters and a filter area with plants of 2×12 meters. The pool is fed with the clear water from the stream. The beaches of the Adriatic coast can be reached within 35 minutes.

The Dutch owners also live on the domain and if needed, can help with helpful tips about the area. Private chef Guiseppe is available for those who want to have his slow food four course dinner or lunch, pizza out of the oven, spaghetti alle vongole, you name it! For the children there is a trampoline and a ping-pong table. In the evening, a fire as well as BBQ can be lit. There are two washing machines for use of the guests.

Are you a dog-owner? and would like to take your dog with you on holiday? No worries, dogs are welcome if they get along with the dogs of the owners.

WiFi is quite limited due to the Italian countryside.

Accommodations

Conero

sleeps 6 to 8

Conero is an apartment of 140 to 165m². It is located on the first floor of the watermill and can be rented either with three or with four bedrooms. When rented with three bedrooms: one bedroom has a double bed, one bedroom two single beds and there is a two persons (good quality) sofa bed. The spacious bathroom has a bath, shower, two sinks and toilet. You can expand with an extra double bedroom with private bathroom. This second bathroom has a shower, sink, toilet and bidet. There is a fully equipped kitchen with 5 pit stove, oven, dishwasher, fridge. The washing machine is located in a separate room.

Outside there is a private terrace with table and lounge area with BBQ and fire pit.

Grotte

Grotte is an apartment of 90m². It is located under the roof of the ancient mill and not suitable for tall people. The apartment consists of two bedrooms, one with double bed and the other with two single beds. There is one bathroom with sink, toilet and a separate shower. The fully equipped kitchen (an additional 40m² space) is in the old cantina of the mill with 5 pit stove, oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine.

The apartment has its own outside terrace, just in front of the kitchen, with dining table and lounge area with BBQ and fire pit.

Gola

Gola is an apartment of 110m². It is located in the millers’ house, next to the mill, on two floors. There is the possibility to add an extra fifth bed. The apartment consists of two double bedrooms (can also be separated in single beds). There are two bathrooms, each with sink, shower, toilet and bidet. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with 4 pits stove, oven and fridge and dishwasher. The washing machine is located in a separate room outside the apartment.

Outside it has its own terrace with dining table, lounge area with BBQ and fire pit.

What to do?

You can make several trips to Urbino, Arcevia, Mondavio, the National Park Gola della Rossa, and the Frassasi caves. The beautiful Adriatic coast, with beautiful places such as Senigallia, can be reached within 45 minutes. In the surrounding forest you can find edible mushrooms and truffles. You can have your private chef at the villa, laze at the pool or go for a hike and so much more.
