Lacrima: Luxe and bright 6-persons holiday apartment
The spacious holiday apartment of Lacrima is a part of Azienda Mastrocola. Azienda Matrocola is situated on a large panoramic site, with splendid views over the Marchegiani hills and the dramatic Sibillini mountain range in the background. The apartments are also centrally located between the towns of Loro Piceno, Mogliano and Montappone. In total this holiday accommodation consists of seven luxury, spacious, and well-furnished apartments. Each apartment has its own private garden, private access, and parking space.
The property stands on one hectare of land. It includes the main building with a tower attached to one side and a smaller building. The main building was originally a farmhouse where the families lived on the first floor, with stabling on the ground floor. Meanwhile, the tower was used by the farmers to dry tabacco. Lastly, the smaller building was formerly used to house animals. The old farmhouse and tobacco drying tower house 5 apartments. Meanwhile, the smaller building houses two characterful country cottages.
The interior and exterior restoration of the buildings has been carried out in accordance with building regulations and is in keeping with traditional rural Marchigiani architecture. In fact, the apartments have traditional stone facades, wood-beamed ceilings, and floors with terra cotta tiles. The garden of 10.000 m2 is well maintained, with a great lawn, flower beds with rosemary, lavender, and white roses. Additionally, there are olive and mulberry trees that provide shade during the hot summer days. The large garden allows for full privacy whilst also delivering a spectacular 360° view over the hills, the medieval towns, and the mountains in the backdrop. Lastly, a large terrace, with sunbeds, umbrellas, and a portico, surrounds the pool of 5 x 18 meter
Lacrima is a bright holiday apartment in Le Marche with a living area of 125 m2. It is situated in the larger of the two holiday houses with a large outside portico with fantastic views over the garden, swimming pool and the hills. There is a large outside table with chairs, a lounge corner and a BBQ.
The spacious downstairs has an open plan kitchen, dining and living room with a bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom with shower, washbasin, toilet, and bidet. The washing machine is in a ‘cupboard’ under the stairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge freezer, four pit gas stove and oven, dishwasher, kettle and coffee machine, along with plenty of glassware, dishes, cutlery, pots and pans.
Upstairs there are two large bedrooms both with a double bed, sharing a bathroom with shower, sink, toilet and bidet.

What to do?
The holiday apartments are situated less than 3km distance from the old Roman city of Loro Piceno. Loro Piceno is an historic town. Home to numerous cultural and gastronomic festivals. It’s famous for Vino Cotto, a special wine that’s “cooked” to reach its peak of flavour and is generally drunk after dinner. Furthermore, Azienda Mastrocolais located in the “Golden Triangle” of Le Marche which puts you in the middle of it all as it means that it is only 30 minutes from the beach, hilltop medieval towns, and the majestic Sibillini Mountains. Loro Piceno also boasts some exceptional restaurants, such as Ristorante al Girarrosto. Market days and local festas abound in the town and nearby villages, with a good choice of shopping and cafés in town.
