Villa Quintessa is a beautifully restored country house with B&B rooms and two studio apartments with swimming pool located in Le Marche. The country house is located just outside Sant’Angelo in Pontano on top of a hill that overlooks the village of San Ginesio. The splendid view from the house stretches down to the coast up to, on a clear day, the Adriatic Sea cost and Mount Conero and on the other side the majestic Monti Sibillini.

In the main house there are two bedrooms available to rent with the formula Bed and Breakfast. Meanwhile the large cottage is divided into two spacious studio apartments. The location of the country house provides a peaceful place to enjoy the large garden designed by a well-known garden architect and full of shrubs and flowers. Villa Quintessa has a swimming pool of 6 x 12 meters where you can relax on the hottest days or sip a cocktail at sunset. Also present are an outdoor warm shower, pizza oven and BBQ, all ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable holiday.

The structure interacts perfectly with the natural surroundings creating a great atmosphere and a place of serenity.

Accommodation

The two B&B rooms are located in the main house (where the owner also lives), each with a private bathroom and two beautiful common veranda where breakfast is served. Guests staying in the apartments can also get breakfast served at an additional cost.

The two studio apartments, only available for couples, (Jasmine and Biancospino, each approximately 60 m2 in size, max 2 pax) are completely newly furnished. The sleeping area with double bed is located on the open loft.

Down in the large, bright open space is the living room, dining table and fully equipped kitchen. Each apartment has its own private terrace, fast wifi and aircon.

Small children (under 12 years of age) are not welcome as the owners have chosen to offer peace and tranquillity. Of course, the property can also be rented as a whole by a group of friends.

For the B&B rooms, in July and August, the minimum stay is 3 nights. However, in other months they may be rented per day.

The linens and towels for the apartments are € 30 per week, this cost includes also the final cleaning.

What to do?

There is plenty to do in the area: cycle along the quiet roads, walk in the nearby Monti Sibillini, go to the seaside, visit the surrounding hilltop towns and local vineyards, visit a 13th century abbey (Abbazia di Fiastra), a medieval castle (La Rancia), enjoy the opera festival at the Sferisterio in nearby Macerata, or stay put and enjoy the calm of the house, garden and pool.

The local village of Sant’Angelo in Pontano is rich in history. The village clearly has important origins as some of its buildings testify, including a 12th century Romano-Gothic church.
